Where every child is seen, known, and loved.
A private preschool, elementary, and junior high school rooted in Christian faith and service serving students in Oak Park, River Forest, Maywood, Forest Park, Elmwood Park, Melrose Park, Chicago, and many other surrounding communities. We take a whole-child approach to education, providing each student with individual care and attention.
Our curriculum combines rigorous academics with faith-based learning and worship. Our robust arts and athletics programs immerse students in music, sports, and visual arts. At Grace Lutheran School, our students grow into well-rounded individuals, ready to continue learning, serving, and growing in their faith.
A diverse, welcoming community.
We believe children grow in compassion and creativity when they learn from many perspectives and points of view. We are committed to providing opportunities to discover and celebrate diversity. To be a place where every child feels a sense of belonging and every family is connected.
We are thankful for God’s grace, mercy, and loving kindness. He’s blessed us beyond measure by giving us a model community through Grace Lutheran School. We are thankful for the genuine relationships and faithful stewardship each family member carries. Yes, family members. The term “staff” is not what we witness in such a loving community.Shawn and Tomeka, Parents of 6th Grade Student
This is our first year at Grace Lutheran School and in private education in general. I cannot express how well our child has transitioned. From academia to after school activities, the experience has been spectacular! The school curriculum aligns with our vision for a good education. There is a focus on learning, mentoring, and guidance to help our child adjust and excel as an individual student. Grace is preparing her with techniques and learning that provides her with good life skills. The sports program has been great for her mind and body. We have seen the significant and positive influence that Grace School has had on our child. The entire staff and student body at Grace welcomed our child with open arms. We feel right at home.Ursula, parent of 5th Grade student
Grace is such an amazing school. We are thankful to have a principal and staff that we can rely on and connect with when needed.Theodora, Parent of 2nd Grade Student
