Testimonials

Grace Lutheran School has been a perfect fit for our family, and our three kids are thriving here. We love the smaller school feel where children are known and truly loved by the teachers and staff they encounter.  Hugs abound.  Small class sizes and sports teams starting in 3rd grade have led to lasting, deep friendships. Our kids enjoy a diverse group of friends from surrounding communities who have been great additions to their Oak Park friends. Our family enjoys the welcoming community and social events the school organizes.  Students at Grace are challenged academically and have individualized learning and differentiation happening from our kindergartener up to our 5th grader.  Grace also focuses on values and character, not just test scores and grades.  Our kids wake up excited to go to school and we are so grateful.

After touring a few private schools in the Oak Park/River Forest area, we decided to have our child attend Grace Lutheran. The determining factors were the supportive learning environment, dedicated teachers/staff, faith based setting, and classroom size. Grace Lutheran offers a challenging academic program that encourages students to excel and strive for academic excellence while fostering social-emotional development. Families are encouraged to be invested stakeholders. The students are motivated to bring out the optimal version of themselves. Grace Lutheran is a school that your child/ren can grow in.

We absolutely are thrilled with our 4th grader starting Grace this year! The academics are rigorous, and our child is being challenged in the best way possible with a curriculum that sparks curiosity and critical thinking. The school fosters an amazing sense of diversity, and it’s wonderful to see our child learning from classmates of different backgrounds and cultures. There’s also a fantastic range of extracurricular activities, from sports to music and more, giving our child the opportunity to explore new interests. Above all, the school truly feels like a family—caring, supportive, and dedicated to each child’s success. We couldn’t be happier with our decision!
