Admission policies
Frequently asked questions.
When should I begin the admissions process?
We begin accepting applications one year before the start of the school year in which a student plans to enroll. We encourage families to complete the admissions process as early as possible, as classes can fill quickly.
To ensure a smooth start to the school year, we do not accept applications for the current school year during the three weeks immediately preceding the first day of school. Families interested in transferring after that time are welcome to begin the application process right away; however, students will not be eligible to begin classes until after the first trimester has ended, provided they have completed the admissions process and space is available.
What are the age requirements for the early childhood programs?
Children must be 3 by September 1 to enroll in pre-kindergarten, must be 4 by September 1 to enroll in Junior kindergarten, and must be 5 by September 1 to enroll in Senior kindergarten. Children also must be toilet-trained.
Where do I begin?
The first step is to schedule a tour. Our Director of Enrollment and Marketing will show you around, answer all your questions, and walk you through the admission process.
When will I find out if my child is accepted to the school?
We begin re-enrollment for our current families in January and start admitting new applicants in March. Admissions decisions are made based on when an application is submitted and the student completes the admissions process, including the shadow visit (if applicable). We continue accepting applications throughout the summer as space remains available in each grade level.
