Girls Varsity Volleyball Season

The varsity girls volleyball team included 18 girls this fall. They played a great season! A highlight from the past returned this year – concessions for home games! All items were donated by 8th Grade parents with funds raised going to support the 8th Grade’s class gift in the spring!

Our varsity girls were coached by Mrs. Underhill and Mrs. Ponce. They ended the season 5-2, and attended 3 tournaments. They took 3rd place in both the Naperville and St. John Tournaments. At the Mt. Prospect Tournament, they ended as Consolation Champs with the only loss being against the team who took 1st.

At their post-season pizza party, they got fun gifts, awards, and played a rousing game of Boys v Girls – the boys won, much to their dismay!

We are so proud of what our Viking volleyball girls were able to accomplish this year. We are thrilled to display the trophies they brought home. Sadly, half the team is graduating this school year, but we are left with 9 strong players for a fantastic foundation next fall. We look forward to another amazing season!
