Meet our Art Teacher – Miss Bodum

Grace has a new art teacher – Miss Iona Bodum!

We are so thankful to have her join the Grace family, and we look forward to all the wonderful things that she will bring to Grace Lutheran School.

Take the time to read what Miss Bodum shared about herself so that you can start to get to know her:

I attended Goldsmiths College in London from 2017-2021 where I received my Bachelors in Fine Arts. I received my Masters in 2023 from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, specializing in Fiber & Material Studies. Grace Lutheran felt like the perfect place to start back at teaching after a hiatus due to the pandemic – previously leading community center courses for Girl Scouts and teaching painting at my former high school. I am an avid home-movie maker, developing 8mm film in my own home and have a cat named Soda Pop.
