6th Grade Cell Project
Grace elementary students have a fun (and yummy!) project to look forward to in 6th grade. Students have the opportunity and challenge to create an edible version of a cell. They can choose to make a plant or animal cell. With the knowledge they have gained in class, they will put their cell together using cake or other edible materials and label the different cell parts. There are so many creative versions showcased every year. We invite you to take a look at the amazing and delicious models brought in this school year!
Each student will present his or her edible cell to the class. After a short presentation, classmates get time to raise their hands and ask questions. Of course, everyone gets to taste test each cell by the end of the class period.
