TEACHER SPOTLIGHT – Jackie Johnson

Meet Jackie Johnson, our incredible Senior Kindergarten teacher! Mrs. Johnson has been a dedicated member of our school community since 2005, starting as the SK teacher assistant, then the interim 2nd-grade teacher in 2012, and finally as the Senior Kindergarten teacher from 2013 to present day!

Mrs. Johnson is a passionate teacher who truly loves her kiddos. She brings science to life with fun experiments and keeps the energy high with dance parties and movement activities. Her dedication to intentional teaching and involving parents is unparalleled. Mrs. Johnson organizes class parties and special mom and dad days throughout the school year to create a strong sense of community. She knew she wanted to be a kindergarten teacher since she was in kindergarten herself! Her lifelong passion for teaching shines through in everything she does.

  • Mrs. Johnson has an AMAZING collection of Barbies, including distinguished Barbies representing historical female figures!
  • She is renowned for her beautifully decorated boards outside her classroom, which change with the seasons.
  • Former students often return to her classroom for a hug or a chat, a testament to the lasting impact she has on their lives.

Mrs. Johnson is not only dedicated to her students but also excels in recognizing and appreciating the efforts of those around her. She creates a supportive and encouraging environment for everyone.
