Boo Bash Recap

Halloween Boo Bash Recap: A Spooktacular Success! 🎃👻

Last Friday, Grace Lutheran School transformed into a Halloween wonderland for our annual Boo Bash! With an incredible turnout of 186 people, including 97 costumed kids, the Fellowship Hall was bustling with fun, food, games, and lots of candy. It was a true community celebration, and we loved seeing all the creative costumes and happy faces.

Highlights of the Night:

Our new Cake Walk event was a showstopper! Thanks to donations from local bakeries and parent volunteers, we had a delicious selection of cakes, cheesecakes, and pies. Toni (Parent of 5th and 3rd grader), one of our amazing volunteers, gathered treats from Reuter’s Bakery, Palermo’s Bakery, Liborio Bakery, Costco, Jewel, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Portillo’s, and Spilt Milk. Two rounds of the Cake Walk meant that 20 lucky participants went home with fantastic desserts! For many, this was their first Cake Walk, and it didn’t disappoint.

Games and More Fun:
Stephanie’s (Parent of 3rd grader and SKer) games were a hit, especially the ever-popular nose-picker game (who knew nose-picking could be so much fun?). Kids of all ages enjoyed playing, laughing, and cheering each other on. A big thank-you to all our volunteers who helped with setup, serving food, and cleanup—it made everything run smoothly!

Sock-tober Success:
We are thrilled to report that, as part of our Sock-tober initiative, we collected 1,018 pairs of socks to donate! Our 5th-grade class won the friendly competition by collecting 171 pairs, just edging out the 7th-grade. Congratulations to Mrs. Nelson’s class on their upcoming pizza party!

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, or donated! This event truly wouldn’t have been the same without the incredible support of our Grace Lutheran School community. We hope you enjoy these wonderful memories as much as we enjoyed creating them. Check out the photos below for some of our favorite moments!
