How far we’ve come!
During the Covid pandemic, the Cub Scout Pack ran out of members and was semi-retired. However, changes in Scouting America (formerly known as Boy Scouts) now allow for coed participation, welcoming both boys and girls. In Summer 2024, Mike Carioscio and a representative from the Scouting America District hosted information sessions for interested parents. These sessions highlighted that Cub Scouting is parent-volunteer-driven, with parents facilitating the Cub Scouting curriculum—a unique feature that sets it apart from more commercial enrichment programs.
Based on a parent workshop, they successfully rechartered Pack 4066!

Some members may also join additional district events, like Cubs to the Moon at Triton College. It’s been an incredible journey, and we’re looking forward to what’s to come!
