Lutheran Schools Week Recap
Lutheran Schools Week is always a highlight of the year, and this past week was no exception! Our students, staff, and families came together to celebrate faith, community, and school spirit through a variety of exciting activities. Here’s a recap of the week filled with color, creativity, and competition!
Monday: Class Color Day
We kicked off the week in a vibrant way! Each class rocked a different color, filling the hallways with a rainbow of school spirit. It was amazing to see students proudly representing their grades in bright and bold fashion!
Tuesday: Team Day
From local teams to professional leagues, our students showed off their favorite sports gear on Team Day! Jerseys, hats, and team shirts were everywhere as students shared their love for the teams they play for and cheer on.
Wednesday: Dress Like Your Favorite Book Character
Creativity took center stage as students transformed into their favorite literary characters! From classic fairytales to modern favorites, our school was filled with storybook magic, making this day a true adventure in imagination.
Thursday: Red Day
We turned the school red for the day! Students and staff dressed in red to celebrate our Lutheran faith and unity, bringing a powerful visual reminder of our shared values and community.
Friday: VIP Day
We ended the week on a special note with VIP Day! Students invited their Very Important Person to school, where they participated in fun activities, explored classrooms, and enjoyed a heartwarming concert performed by our students. It was a beautiful way to celebrate the meaningful relationships that shape our school family.
Penny Wars & Door Decorating Competition
Throughout the week, students participated in Penny Wars, raising funds in a friendly competition. Congratulations to our Penny Wars winners:
- JK, 1st Grade, and 8th Grade!
The annual Door Decorating Contest also brought out incredible creativity, with each class showcasing their artistic talents. The winners were:
- Best Use of the Theme Verse: 5th Grade
- Most Fun: PK & 3rd Grade
- Best Class Connectivity: SK
- Most Creative: 6th Grade
- Best Overall: 8th Grade
A Week to Remember!
Lutheran Schools Week was filled with joy, laughter, and school spirit. Thank you to all the students, teachers, staff, and families who made this week such a memorable celebration. We are blessed to be part of such a wonderful community, and we can’t wait to do it all again next year!
