Grace School Track & Field Shines at State!
We are thrilled to celebrate the incredible accomplishments of our Grace School Track and Field Team at the State Meet. Our athletes competed with heart, determination, and excellence, bringing pride to our entire school community.
Recognition for the girls’ team
Our girls’ team brought home the 3rd place trophy—an outstanding achievement that deserves major celebration!
- Maya Bourelly placed 6th in Long Jump, 3rd in the 200 Dash, and is the 100 Dash State Champion
- Esme Davis is a double champion, winning both the 200 Dash and the 400 Dash, with an impressive time of 1:03 in the 400
- The Girls 4×100 Relay Team—Maya Bourelly, Aryelis Cabral, Shelby Beals, and Esme Davis—took 1st place and set a new school record of 53.56 seconds! An incredible accomplishment!
Recognition for the boys’ team
Our boys’ team tied for 22nd in the state with conference rival St. Paul, Mt. Prospect
- Jackson Brayton placed 8th in Shot Put
- The 4×200 Relay team—Harry Miller, Grant Kuipers, Armell Brock, and Jonah Thompson—placed 6th
- The 4×400 Relay team—Adam Ver Steeg, Kidus Kumela, Grey Lindberg, and Brady Fredericks—placed 7th
- The 4×800 Relay team—Chris Morgan, Adam Ver Steeg, Kidus Kumela, and Brady Fredericks—placed 8th
Every athlete gave their all, and their hard work paid off. We are proud of the sportsmanship, effort, and determination shown by each of our Viking athletes. You represented Grace with pride. Congratulations on this major accomplishment!
