Meet our Reading Specialist!

We’re excited to welcome Mrs. Kuziel to Grace Lutheran School as part of our reading support team!

Mrs. Kuziel brings with her more than 20 years of experience in public education, where she served as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, and instructional coach. She now joins Grace part-time as a reading specialist, and we are so grateful for the expertise and warmth she brings to our students.

One of Mrs. Kuziel’s greatest passions is the science of reading. She finds joy in helping students become confident, curious, and lifelong readers—and she’s thrilled to be back in the classroom, doing what she loves most.

Mrs. Kuziel holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Loyola University New Orleans and earned two master’s degrees in Teaching and Reading from National Louis University. Her dedication to lifelong learning is evident in the way she approaches both her work and her interests outside the classroom.

When she’s not at Grace, Mrs. Kuziel enjoys traveling, discovering new museums, and hunting for vintage treasures to add to her collection or sell. She’s also an active volunteer with the Frank Lloyd Wright Trust, where she shares her love of architecture, design, and history with visitors from around the world.

Mrs. Kuziel lives in Riverside with her husband, John, and is the proud mom of two grown children—a daughter in Chicago and a son in Los Angeles.

We’re thrilled to have Mrs. Kuziel as part of our Grace Lutheran family and look forward to the many ways she will impact our students’ love of reading!
