Growing in Faith Through Service
At Grace Lutheran School, we believe service is an essential part of growing in both faith and character. It’s not just something we talk about—it’s something we intentionally build into each grade level. Our goal is for students to develop a heart for serving others, whether that’s within our own school community or out in the wider world.
Our 5th graders had the opportunity to live this out in a meaningful way by volunteering at Feed My Starving Children. During their visit, they worked together to pack an incredible 197 boxes of food. Those boxes will help provide 42,552 meals to people in need around the world.
Experiences like this not only make a tangible impact, but also help our students see how they can use their time and gifts to serve others. We are so proud of our 5th graders for their hard work, teamwork, and servant hearts—and we look forward to continuing to grow a culture of service in every grade at Grace.
