Vikings Shine at the State Track & Field Championships
Grace Lutheran School was proudly represented this weekend at the State Track & Field Championships, where our Viking athletes gave outstanding performances across multiple events.
Across the board, athletes achieved personal records, earned top placements, and helped bring home impressive team finishes. We are incredibly proud of all nine athletes who qualified and competed at the state level.
Boys Results
Our boys team delivered strong performances throughout the meet:
- Long Jump: Grey Lindberg – 8th place
- 1600 Meter Run: Anders Lyle – 15th place
- 4×100 Relay: Sean Hoffman, Isaac Hodges, Gabriel Nixon, Grey Lindberg – 8th place
- 100 Meter Dash: Gabriel Nixon – 16th place
Boys Team Overall Finish: 25th place
Girls Results
Our girls team had an exceptional showing, including multiple top finishes and a state champion performance:
- Shot Put: Shelby Belas – 4th place
- Shot Put: Maddi Wallace – 11th place
- 800 Meter Run: Arsema Kumela – 10th place
- 400 Meter Dash: Esme Davis – 1st place
- 200 Meter Dash: Esme Davis – 1st place
- 200 Meter Dash: Shelby Beals – 5th place
- 100 Meter Dash: Esme Davis – 1st place
- 100 Meter Dash: Shelby Beals – 7th place
Girls Team Overall Finish: 4th place
